Where's me status bar gone?

  AngeTheHippy 16:39 03 Mar 04

This has been happening for some time now - the status bar on IE isn't automatically there! I have to 'view/status bar' to bring it back! It's very annoying, and don't know why this happens. I'm certain that it wasn't like this from the start - got this PC November 2002. XP Athlon. Any ideas anyone?

Open up Windows Explorer, or click on My Documents.

View, Status Bar...

Tools, Folder Options, View, Apply to All Folders.

View settings in the current window will be applied to all.

Ange. In IE6 look to the toolbar and click on "View". Second line down is the status bar. j.

ange, as powerless said, WINDOWS EXPLORER, not internet explorer.....i used the My Documents folder to set it up. there isn't a folder options in IE, hope that clears it up for you.
