where is the startup list?

hi there,
just a quicky. its been so long since i needed to look at it, that i cannot recall where to find out which programs are 'on' when i start my pc. can you help me please?

Run.Type in msconfig.Ok.Start up.

If it's Vista I would use "control panel" then "windows defender" then "software explorer" then "tools" to view and manage startup progs. Make sure you are displaying startup items in the drop down list. Select and disable from here.
