Where does 'My Computer' live?

Windows XP.I put a short-cut to 'My Computer' on my desktop many moons ago. I'm shortly meeting up with my sister and taking a CD of photos for her to view on their computer. I will have to explain how, I thought the easiest way would be to go to 'My Computer' and double-click on the CD player. Where is 'My Computer' to be found?

Usually on the desktop of at the very top of the tree in Windows Explorer under Desktop

Thanks, that's another thing! My Windows Explorer just opens My Documents, so I can't find it in there!

Either just go up from My Documents or right click the Explorer button, choose Properties and change the Target to

C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe /n,/e,C:\

Thanks, problem solved by changing target.

The other option is to right click on the My Computer icon from the start menu and then select Show on Desktop.
