Where do the 1000s of previous threads go?

I only have 10 pages of Threads to look through. i am trying to find a previous thread called "Fraught Faxing" The search engine comes up with "no matches".

Look in your, (My Postings), and if you made a reply to that thread, it will be in there.

A good tip for anyone who sees a thread, and thinks that it may be of use at a later date is to reply to the thread, if only to say "Refresh, or just a full stop"

This way it will be in your (My Postings for future reference). J.

Thanks John but remember I had problems with pj123 and now I can't access My Postings.

I just tried putting pj123 in the search, and it comes up with your old, (My Postings). J.

Thanks John

What criteria did you use? i just tried it and 1 page of 40 postings. Must be more than that.

Make sure that you are searching in Helproom and All Discussion. If you run the search from "My Postings" page then the in field will default to My Postings and will need changing. You can't search for a posters name. The only results you'll get is if the name was in the body of the post or one of the responses.

Thanks to everyone for the info.

I have got my new glasses on now. It is so much clearer.

I will tick this as resolved.
