If you plug your monitor in near the top of your pc (tower system) then its built in. If you plug it in at the bottom around alot of similar looking slots it probs is seperate.

The way to tell if it's intergrated is take the side off the pc, and have a look. Follow the lead from monitor and have a look where it goes. If it's not into a PCI/AGP slot/card then it's on-board.

tried Belark..... gave me system crashes galore!!!!!!!

Guess my configuration is so different!!!!!!

But thanks for trying!

right-click on your desktop, choose properties\settings

or control panel\display\settings,

you may see 'Display: Plug And Play Monitor on > *Graphics Card*'

or click on advanced\adapter for more info.

another route could be control panel\system\hardware\device manager, and click the '+' to the left of 'display adapter'

Right click 'My Computer' select properties and then click the device manager tab. Left click the '+' next to display adapters. This will give the name of the graphics card (the driver it uses anyway). Type it into Google or post it on this forum for more info.
