Hi,I have been given a graphic's card, because my onboard one, has stated to 'ghost'. The trouble is, I cannot now scroll up, down, sideway's etc, it just refreshes in a kind of wave effect. I then relised that I'd heard you need different drivers for a graphic's card, and this is where I have got the problem, because I do not know what typ it is. Can anyone help please?

You need to provide the name of the card. The drvier will be on the manufacturer's website.

It might work if you uninstall the previous driver (for the old card).

Download and run this it will tell you what the card is and point you in the direction of the driver download.

If it's an nVidia chipset card (GeForce, TNT etc) then go to:

and download the required driver (nVidia drivers are backward compatible).

You will also need to disable onboard graphics in the Bios.
