Where are compressed old files?

I did a Disk Cleanup and compressed old files.
this took about 90 minutes and saved 6,176,743,424 Bytes.
Is it safe to remove these files and where are they hidden? Any help will be much appreciated.
Confused

They're not hidden anywhere as far as I know, they're only compressed to save disk space. You should see any files Windows compresses as they will be displayed in a blue font.

Thanks MAJ, after looking through my HDD it seems that files that have not been for a while are classed as "Old Files".
So I do not need to delete them.
Thanks once again MAJ.
