What's limiting my PC?

Hi guys,

First of all, sorry if this is in the wrong forum - not used to this sort of thing! Anyway, I've been using the same desktop system (with the occasional hardware swap) at home to game on for at least two years and, as is to be expected, performance has begun to drop off with newer games (like for example Bad Company 2 or Starcraft II). I'm wondering which part of my PC is holding framerates back - GPU, CPU, RAM etc or whether there are multiple issues and it may be time to look into getting a new PC. I've included the (what seems to me) relevant bits of my direct x diagnostic:

Operating System: Windows Vista™ Home Premium (6.0, Build 6002) Service Pack 2 (6002.vistasp2_gdr.101014-0432)

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.4GHz Memory: 3070MB RAM DirectX Version: DirectX 11

Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 275 Display Memory: 2158 MB Dedicated Memory: 879 MB
