hello everyone,i wondered if anyone as experienced the same as this, computer for no reason just goes completly dead. the first time i just vacced the back of the tower where the fan is and switched on and everything seemed to be alright, then last night the same thing happened again, this time i removed the side panels of the tower and gave everything inside a good vac, cooling fans etc. switched on and everything seems to be alright. do you think i have solved the problem or do you think there is something more sinister about to happen, thanks for any help.

yes looks like it and been working o.k. for ages

be careful with the vacuum cleaner, can cause static build, safer with an air blast cleaner

Could be overheating - especially if your CPU is working hard at the time the shutdown happens.
