What's eating my HDD space?!!

My HDD is partitioned into 2, C Drive 14Gb and D Drive 100Gb-ish.
The smaller one for the OS (XP), the larger for storage.
After running smoothly for ages it started to become very slow.
I checked the properties to discover there was only 200Mb of free space on C Drive, so I ran CCleaner, which freed up a further 450Mb.
However, within seconds, the properties showed the fre space to be down to 200Mb again.
I've also deleted files manually but with the same result.
It started to become slow after my daughter, bless her, downloaded loads of cracks and exe files from the internet to help her with her games.
I thought a virus may be involved but I've got the latest McAfee and it's detected nothing.
How can I get my space back?

Grezza.

You could maybe turn off system restore this would delete them and maybe get some space back.

Try Sequoia view click here to examine the disk and work out what's eating all that space.
Another cleaner that may be worth trying is click here G-Lock.

Thanks to both of you for your help.
The system restore tip helped a lot, and the Sequoia Viewer is very handy.
I just need to keep up to it now.
Thanks again,
Grezza.
