I have WindowsXP Home edition installed on my machine at the moment and was just wondering what was the difference between the 2. I am thinking of purchasing the Pro version as i can get hold of it for £35.....

And NO, it isn't pirate!!

One of the few benefits of being a student is, is that i get most software very cheap from Uni. I purchased OfficeXP Pro the other day for £35 too. Not bad eh?

the main difference are networking abilities that are in pro but not home, think like that pro is desgined for companies and home is for home! you also got remote desktop in pro but not in home, there are a few more bits and bobs but these are the main ones

Just wondering if any of you know how to have my uni emails redirected to my usual mail handler...Yahoo.

Any of you know how to do it? Help would be appreciated
