Whats the correct screen resolution

I have a 19" TFT monitor currently running at 1280x1024 I think. Would this be the correct screen resolution for a screen this size. I also have a Creative Ti4200 if this helps.

Same as me, and I find it spot on. There is no correct resolution as such though. Its down to preference mainly.

It depends on the maximum resolution that the monitor can cope with. I think that you have probably got it on the max (if your monitor can support a higher resolution then go for it... a greater resolution should not be a problem for your eyesight on this size of monitor)

Also, check the refresh rate. Most TFT monitor work better with a refresh rate of around 60hz. This prevents things like blurring.

Ok thanks for that guys, yeah it is on the maximum and looks fine, I was just being curious.
