What's Copy-book? It's driving me CRAZY!!!

Morning Chaps,

Only since Saturday this has been happening, if I do a Google search I get re-directed to something called copy-book. It doesn't happen to every search but enough REALLY ANNOY me and never get to the page i was trying to get to.

Any ideas please?

Hi guys,
I've started Googling possible answers for this nuisance. It seems then it's a browser hi-jacker? AVG didn't find it, gonna try a couple more av's I've installed... tell ya later.

If you haven't already done so try running Malwarebytes from hereclick here

This problem seems to attack your router, so you will need to reset it or you will become re-infected.

well...this is the Lappy that was possibly dying last week. At that time, I backed up all relevant stuff I wanted to keep on external HDD.
Anyway, to cut a long story short, I've re-installed XP. New, fresh install. I might just squeeeze another few days/weeks/months of use out of it..ya never know!!
