I know this must have been asked before but I recently purchased a 'bespoke' computer from PC Specialist to what I thought was a good spec: AMD Athlon 64 3500+ (2.2Ghz) 512K L2 cache (socket AM2)
1024 MB Corsair DDR2 667Mhz (2x512MB)
ASUS M2V-TVM dual DDRII SATA x16 slot 2PCI
160GB serial ATA hard drive with 8MB Cache
16 +/-DVD writer (8x +/-dual lyr)(5x DVD-RAM)(40x CD-RW)
52x 32x 42x CD Writer
512MB GEFORCE 6600 PCI Express DVI+tv-Out

But when I checked the BOIS its seems that I was supplied with an AMD Semperon 3500+ processor. The machine has now been returned and I am awaiting the correct processor to be fitted, but my question is how do I check everythink else inside the box is what I ordered and payed for? Is there a program I can download which will check the machine and tell me what each bit actually is?

I am no expert so don't want to have to do anything that might invalidate my warranty.

Help please!!!!

Hi, from what I can gather, the Sempron is just slightly better than the Athlon, though there is not much between the two.
