Have a look at the free Anti Virus and Malware programs..Avast, AVG, both OK but take your pick

For me it's Avast Home. In a class of it's own and have used for many years. It gets better with every new edition and can't fault it.

i am currently using norton 360 which is well worth the money but there are many free anti virus applications kicking around the internet.

The most well known free anti-virus software would probably be AVG then Avast. But there are many.

In this months PC Advisor magazine there is Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009 so you could always have ago at that.

Comodo firewall now incorporates an antivirus, so it's a free internet suite.

I use Stop-Sign, and have done for a few years, it is normaly first with any new trogans / viruses as it updates daily.

I check on occasions with other checkers and (to date)nothing has slipped through.

He package includes many extra's, and from my point is well worth paying for.
