What is Wandershare Helper Compact?

Whilst checking my start up programmes I found on called Wandershare Helper Compact.exe - in Programmer files(x86)/Common ...

The only recent change was an I Tunes update. Does anyone know what this is - should I stop it at start up. Not showing in Programmes and features in Control panel. Windows 7 64 bit with Avast and Malawarebytes Pro.

It seems to be a Google product - seems haemless.

Part of Wondershare video converter

looks like you downloaded and installed it as part of another package i.e. Itunes (I hate this underhand method of getting programs foisted on us)

I would uninstall it any programs loading on start are using unnecessary resources and thus slowing your machine.

Turns out its part of several Wondershare programs all of which you probably don't want.

Thanks; I will start by disabling it at start up. As it does not show in "Programmes and features" I will , after a few days, manually remove the elements.
