I'm trying to setup a broadband wireless connection with ntlworld/VirginMedia and one of the first questions I get asked is what type of connection do I have?

The 4 options given are :
Static IP
Dynamic IP
PPTP
PPPoE

How am I supposed to know the answer to this, let alon know what they mean? There's no help in the user guide or accompanying CD.

P.S. I've posted this in the Networking section too, but no one seems to be replying.

Thanks for that.
I don't have a BT line, but an ntl line so I probably have a Dynamic Address.
