Hi its a silly question but at work last week we had a compaint that our clock was 10 minutes slow. I checked it on my phone and it was 2 minutes faster than my phone and I looked online and searched time in uk and the google time corresponded with my phone. I was wondering if their was a officel British website with the time so if this problem arises again I can refer to it? Its important that we open on time and I would like to be sure that we are opening on time.

Thanks James

Just Google 'current time' (as you did). That's what time it (officially) is. There is no more definitive source.

What sort of clock? assuming that you mean a computer clock then set it to sync with one of the on line time servers if not then wind it up:-)

The Speaking Clock is the way to go. Dial 123 on a landline and you'll get the time to the nearest second.

BT: and it'll cost you a small fortune, IIRC?
