I noticed I had a new icon on my desktop, named 'rscoree.dll' . I didn't put it there (deliberately). What is it and can I delete it? I'm running Windows XP .
Thanks for any advice.

Describes what it is (appears to be part of Windows O.S.) but at the moment I can't help you any further) If it isn't interfering with any of your programs, system etc., BUT it is bothering you I would for the moment move it into your "Unused Desktop Folder"
