Hi Folks

Can someone please ecplain what is Norton 360 and how does it work? What is it's purpose? Do I have to do anything to make it work once it is installed on the computer?

Thank You.

It's a comprehensive package of antivirus, antimalware etc that has to be paid for. Many users of these forums prefer to use freebies which seem to work equally well (MSE, Avast!, AVG etc). It pretty much runs itself once installed.

install it and it will run itself, doing automatic updates and scanning whenever the pc is idle.

i have it on my pc and like it.

after 12 months you need to renew it, but it gives you reminders.

never renew all line it is often a lot cheaper to shop around each year. pcworld and novatech often do very good deals on norton.
