what, No FAT?

The long story involves a bed, a coffee table and a summersault. The shot story is that my :G drive is "corrupt and unreadable". Luckilly its not my system drive. All the same I would like to salvage as much data and file structure as possible.

I'm running a trial version of "Recover my files" but it looks a mess. I'm not entirely sure its selected the right drive ( I have 2 X 80 gig).
What's the best/cheapest recovery tool?

Not quite there yet. It can't figure out the name of a file or find folders. Is there a FAT or NTFs repair tool?

I can't offer advice in this case, but thank you for one of the best first lines that this forum has seen in ages! ROFL.
