Hi, I'm a bit confused on what modules should be fitted on my main board. I have a Evesham XP media centre PC (Evolution Decimator-Fancy name)with a Intel 915P chipset motherboard. I currently have 1GB dual channel DDR 2 RAM 533MHz (2x512MB) memory fitted. I know i can fit up to 2GB (2x1GB)on my board, when i asked Evesham they told me i needed 184 pin DDR-2 533MHZ modules But i was looking at my User guide and it says it should be 240 pin.I know 1GB is not bad as it is but i do want to learn how to upgrade my own PC and i think memory is a good start.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Paul

Thanks Trademark.

Ran the scanner, but it was unable to supply me with the information needed - couldn't find my model no in the list.
I have ran the CPU-Z which is a free download and it gathers information about your computer and i have e-mailed this as a HTML doc to Crucial for advice.

Hopefully they will get back to me and i will let you know the outcome.
