Hi
I need to invest in a graphics card with DVI, prob secondhand and am confused between AGP, PCI, PCI express or ISA.
CAn anyone clarify what the difference is? I tend to go for AGP only because a relative recommended them.
Many thanks
SM

On what your Motherboard can support. Do you know make and model of your system...and operating system.

You have to find out what you have. The AGP, PCI or PCI E is they type of slot your computer has, they are not interchangable.
Is it a branded PC like a Dell or whatever? If not download Everest and see if it gives you the make and model of your motherboard click here or Belarc click here or even SIW click here One of these will tell you what board you have and therefore what graphics slots you have.
