what is "http://540.filost.com/"

  brokencomputer 18:31 24 Mar 05

Whenever I connect to internet via broadband, my computer tries to go to the above address as well as to my homepage. I have installed zonealarm, spybot, adaware and they all say my system is clean. When I bought this laptop, I bought Norton antivirus 2003, and I regularly update it, but is this enough? Should I buy Norton Internet Secutity 2005. (Is it clear that I know very little about computers?)

According to Google its a site under construction

  brokencomputer 23:35 24 Mar 05

Downloaded CWshredder: deleted 2 files. above address (a blank page) still keeps popping up. Above link to hijackthis didn't work, but got it from another site. tried copying/ pasting log here a couple of times, but it won't work. Took the log to a hijack this page, analysed it and found some dangerous and some unknown and some uneccessary stuff, but still unclear what to do.

"error executing database query" comes up each time I try paste my hijack this log here.

There is an 800 word limit on this site. You will need to post in bits.

RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove

Try this into RUN box,I had removed Windows Messenger(as I dont use it)via Add/Remove,but each time I launched IE,this "filost" page would appear.I tried Adaware/Spybot/SpywareBlaster/CW Shredder but they all insisted my PC was clear.
