I have a machine with a jerky scroll. This machine is running with an onboard graphics setup, I am guessing that this is the cause. I propose to instal a graphic card but dont really know what I need. Certainly not a serious gamers one. The most demanding applications will be running photoshop and maybe some dvd watching and editing. I have seen a radeon 9200 128mb for under forty quid would this be over kill for what I need, is it any good? click here
Any suggestions ?

even onboard should be ok with web pages.

try:

tools/internet options/advanced tick "use smooth scrolling"

are the drivers for your onboard chipset installed?

If you just do he usual on a PC get on-board or a basic one.

MX or something.

If you like games, then opt for a GeForce FX5900 which will give excellent performance for just over £200 quid.

dvd watching and editing.

Editing.... Then you need a FX5900!

Smooth scrolling is enabled. Do I really need to spend that much money on a card :( ?
