I want to convert Quick Time videos taken with a digital camera to AVI or MPEG since in order to use them on Studio 9 they have to be in AVI or MPEG, which means to use a converter.
MY PROBLEM IS THAT I DO NOT KNOW WHAT FORMAT QUICK TIME uses. I've gone to the Quick Time site but have not yet found it. HELP, please.

Thanks. I've already checked out the Quick Time site and I read it through completely and have not found out what format Quick Time uses. If you know where it is I would appreciate it if you could tell me. Thanks again.

It will play whatever video codecs you choose when you configure it.

Never used it, but read that Quicktime Pro will convert from Quicktime to avi.

I found the solution. I found out that Quick Time uses the .MOV format which can only be converted to AVI or MPGE4 with Quick Time Pro7 which costs 29.99 Euros.
Thanks to all for their guidance.
