Hi, I would like to know what file format I should convert these video files to that I have on my harddrive so that they will burn onto a dvd disk and be playable on a dvd player. Is it mpeg2? and when I have converted this file how do I burn it onto a dvd disk?

There is much more to a video DVD than the transfer of MPEG2 to a disk. There are all sorts of sub files, chapters, this and that files to take account of before you can burn a disc to play on a DVD player.

You need to use a dedicated program to do it for you such as Nero.

You could try click here which seems to be recommended by a few people here.

edennorman had a similar query (see click here) and seems to have had some success!

Good Luck!
