What does COA mean

  billy 22:17 06 May 04

On ebay I have seen some sales of Windows XP saying with or without COA. Does anyone know what COA means?

certificate of authenticity

cash on arrival

Or as Powerless says

It depends on the context of where the COA is put

it means what Powerless said - Certificate Of Authenticity.

Thanks guys. So if I buy Windows XP with COA it says it is real, but does that mean I also need the activation code?

Activation code would be needed, otherwise you would have purchased a no,no product.

Why not look at click here [UK]and key in Quickfind code 50264 [XP Home] or Quickfind code 52362 [XP Pro]. Both come with Service Pack 1 and full licence.
