What to do about continuous traffic on net.

  MuDelta 15:00 09 Feb 08

I use Zone alarm (have done so for years). Recently I have noticed continuous traffic with “generic host process for win32 services”. I find no problems with email or the net. The activity is irritating. Is there a danger and anyhow, how can I stop it?

Have you run your Antivirus and Antispyware programs to check for any problems,

Try SAS Superantispyware

SAS Free Version/ click here

Do a full scan in safe mode,

generic service host process, {Svchost.exe}

This can be used by a Virus

You need to change it to WPA

Done that; no change!

Do yourself a favour turn off the Zone (Paranoia Mode)alerts and relax in the faith that Zone Alarm is protecting you by blocking which is what it is designed to do after all if it was not you would not be getting alerted would you
