Hello.... I think I may need some more RAM to allow my son to play his latest game (Football Manager 2007 I think). We currently have 500mg but when we try to install the game it says we do not meet minimum system requirements.I know there are a few different types of RAM around so I wondered how to tell which sort was installed on your pc.I was going to double it initially to see if that helped.... regards JoanSims

Go to click here and run the online scanner - it will tell you what you need.

As for minimum requirements, you may need a stronger graphics card - do you know what is in it at the moment?

  JoanSims 21:18 28 Oct 07

Yes and thanks for quick response. The Graphics card is a ATI Radion Xpress 200 ... I think it's the built in type..

Dic Crucial give you an option?

Give the rest of the spec of the machine and some help may be forthcoming.

Yes,, thanks.Apparently I can quite easily quadruple the RAM... It's a P4 2.8 but with the older style AGP motherboard

I think you might find you need a graphics card. I would check what specification the game needs and compare it to what you have.

Think you'll find that game will play with just about any graphics card.

Also it should run fine with 512M of RAM, but must agree it will play even better with more

I see in the specs it specifically mentions it must be a 32 bit display. Could you check your display settings and make sure they are set to 32 bit and not 16 bit.
Only idea I have at the moment.
