My nvidia geforce256 32 mb has packed in, almost, cooling fan has stopped. I like NVIDIA so want to get a replacment for the geforce 256 but as the PC is 5 years old, pentium 700mhz, win98se, I dont have much of a clue but like this PC and want to prolong its like. I like this one Nvidia Geforce FX5700LE 128MB DDR TV OUT/DVI and the blurb says it will work with win98se but am I spening too much? I live in a remote area so cant take item back and want to order something that is better than or as good as the geforce 256.

Any advice appreciated, I think the fan went in the old card a while back so it may be beyond repair.

Why not ask yourself "how much am I prepared to spend?" and then see what NVidia have on offer.

A word of advice - don't ever ask "which is the best....." in these forums. You'll get 4,000 (approximately) different opinions and go away even more confused that you were before! ;-)
