In my Program Files there is a file called Lx_cats and Ive no idea what it is or how it got there.

According to Google 'Lx_CATS is a Lexmark printer file, installed by Lexmark, which spies on your printer usage and reports back to the Lexmark mother ship.' See click here

i have a lexmark x5150 all in one & just checked for LX_CATS & was ok,but i do think this sort of things stinks

I never did like Lexmark, now I have a valid reason for not doing. Does anyone know whether any of the other major printer manufacturers are involved in similar spying?
