Weird hangup issue

Ok, Win XP Pro, NTL Cable broadband, through a Netgear FM114P... Odd (and very anoying) thing keeps happening. I working on a particular server often (where I host lots of websites) and every now and again I lose the connection to it, my PC just can't see it... ftp, http, email, nothing. But my connection to the rest of the net works as normal, I just can't see that one server.

If this happens I can still power up my laptop, which connects through the same broadband, and that can see the server fine. Websites on different IP addresses (on the same server) are also affected.

If I restart my PC I can connect again straight away without fail.

So I'm thinking it's got to be a local problem with this (my main) pc, something which is 'fixed' after a restart.

Any ideas... it's driving me bonkers and I'm stumped!
