Webcam query

I've just started playing around with the 'Logitech QuickCam 6.0 (Windows) webcam.
I've noted that if you record something in 160x120 resolution the sync is spot on. But if you move up to 320x240, then up again to 640x480, the sync becomes totally out.
Also, if opened to full window size, the picture becomes quite pixolated.
Is that due to the webcam itself, or the speed of my processor (350 Mhz)?
Any advice much appreciated.

More likely the speed? of your processor - very slow by todays' standards. Nowadays, 1.8Ghz plus is the norm.

Pixilation on full screen is liable to be more your webcam than processor as screen resolution is much higher than webcams.

Agree with Technotiger that sync is more likely down to processor speed as your's is quite low. As it may be an old computer your USB ports may also be USB 1 standard, whereas the Quickcam is USB 2 ( a faster standard).
