Webcam problems

I am trying to access my webcam from the internet but all I get is a log-in screen to my modem.

The setup is as follows:

Unknown modem (conexant). It is simply called: ADSL Modem Router.

Linksys wireless router WRT54GS - This is set to Auto Config DHCP here is where I think the problem might be - I feel the router should be set up on a Static IP Config being that my Internet IP is fixed, however, I've never been able to do this successfully.

Linksys wireless camera: WVC54G - this is on Fixed IP: and assigned to port 5000 on the router.

I would like to be able to log-in to the camera directly but am baffled and Linksys support have not been able to help.

It may be a firewall problem. Have you configured your firewall to accept the traffic for your webcam on port 5000?
