I'm trying to look at Toulon Harbour in France.
The picture from the webcam is not bad but I wonder if there's any way of enlarging it.

you could save the image, then enlarge it in a picture prog.(Adobe) not sure how good the result would be

Just did what I suggested to you and it was not too bad a picture when magnified. (looks like a ferry boat docking).

yes not bad but I was hoping you could enlarge it without losing image quality
I was hoping to try to see the name of the ship.

It would depend on the resolution capabilities of the webcam being used.

Normally a standard webcam's maximum output is 640x480.

its a digital image so as you enlarge ,so the pixels get biger. You may be able to get better results with an expensive prog like Photopshop. this may "fill in" the pixels to improve it.
