  SparkyJack 02 Jul 13

I tried to order ink on a web sales site via my tablet 3 times- each attempt was baulked at the payment page with browser padlock problem.

Tried this time on normal computer and the tgransaction went thruogh 1st time.

So whats the problem with mobile devices?

I could be totally wrong, but were you trying to order from an insecure wifi spot or your tablet as been left 'open'?.

Well Spuds you say you could be wrong

In fact the tablet resides on a small table to my right The laptop resides on a smaoll table to my left and I resides in my 'Cptains' swivel arm chiar betwict the pair of them. Ech connected wirelessly to the BT Home hub Infinity line

The problem may lie with the way that your tablet works with https sites and their security in a mobile version.
