Web Address in Outlook and Express not working

  Octoz 13:31 18 Sep 03

I am often sent/am often sending web pages by email. I run Outlook and my wife's account is with Outlook Express.
Neither of us appear to be able to open the links once the mail has been received all we get is the "This page cannot be displayed" message.

I know that it's a risky task but I am running NPF and NAV.

Can anyone help please?

Go to, in IE, Tools > Internet Options > Programs tab and tick the little bow which says "Internet Explorer should check that it is the default browser". Close and re-open IE, it should ask that it be the default browser, choose Yes. You should now have your links working in OE again. If IE doesn't ask to be the default browser, re-boot the PC, it should ask then.
