This is with regards to the drop down menu across the top that stores your last 20-30 web sites.

Every so often this seems to be deleted and goes blank?

Sounds like your "Delete History" is kicking into action every so often, AdventCalendar. How long are you keeping pages in History? In IE, Tools > Internet Options > General tab > History section > "Days to keep pages in History", and does the number of days correspond to the time they take to disappear from the dropdown menu?

30 days....seems about right yeah, once a month. what do you have yours at???

does that mean each month you have to re-put your web addresses back in??

If you need to check on a previous URL you should look in History - this keeps a record of where you have been.

You can adjust the time this is retained as suggested by MAJ.

If you visit a lot of websites then you may wish to keep the History details for as many days as you require.

PS

Once you have visited a website, AutoComplete should fill in the full address as soon as you have typed the first few letters.
