Web Access Monitoring

My PC connects to the outside world via a company server and I think that my internet use is being logged on the server. Is there any way to stop this?

Not that I know of. It's common practice for employers to monitor (or at least have the abilty to monitor) their employees' internet use. All my employers have and I have no objection to it - why should I ?

Doubt it as the company will be monitoring traffic via their server for their own reasons and are unlikely to exempt you, though you could ask them nicely.

Of course it's being logged, and there's no way you can stop it. All you can do is to make sure you fully comply with you company's rules on use of the Internet.

Having said that I use two different programs, as well as the record held by Exchange, to monitor employee Internet use. I have never checked it, and never will - unless anyone gives me cause to. But if that happens I will have to check everyone to avoid being accused of any sort of victimisation.
