A weak wireless signal.

Hello reader. I'm using a wireless radio, which is at the bottom corner of my home [the netgear wireless router -DG834G v3- is a floor above, next to a main wall.] The radio keeps falling out of tune [keeps buffering] and, about every ten minutes, the sound breaks-up for ten seconds. What should i do? I was thinking of using a booster on the radios floor.

The buffering could be down to slow speed connection rather than a weak signal. Do you have a laptop that you can take to the radio and check the signal strength? If it breaks up that regularly it may be due to interferance from say a fridge or central heating.

I wonder whether the fact that the recipitant is below the wireless router ariel is the reason!
Perhaps a better signal would be gained if the locations were reversed (only a theory)
