WD Hard Drive - connect wirelessly?

Hi

I have a WD hard drive connected to a media player near my TV, but nowhere near my PC.

Is there any way I can get the HD to connect to my wireless home netweork - I have a D-Link wireless system. I want to transfer / delete etc files on the HD without the need to move it. Thought this would a nice simple one, but struggling to find any definitive answers on this.

Assume I need a wireless adapter of some sort? If so, any suggestions and how to actually get the thing up and running very much appreciated.

Many thanks

If this is a NAS drive (Network Attached Storage that connects by ethernet) then you would need to connect it to a Wireless Network Bridge, which would then connect wirelessly to your router. They are not the easiest of things to find though.

The alternative would be to use Homeplugs to provide ethernet connectivity between locations via the mains electricity wiring.
