I have a Toshiba Laptop running Windows XP I have made a Slide show of my sons wedding I would like to add music to play in the background. The music is on my CD that I would like to add/play is not a Wav file, so I cannot download it onto my laptop.

Is there any freeware programme that I can download that will let me copy onto my hard drive music other than WAV files?

It is only for my own personal use.

I'm not sure as to what sound card I have on my Laptop
