Does anyone know of a FREE reliable watermarking software please ? Thanks.

If you're wanting to watermark (copyright) pictures, and use such as Photoshop or PSP. Then this is quite easily done without spending money on additional software

I do not have Photoshop or PSP which are not free, I presume. Will try Picture-Shark which Jak_1 offered. Thanks.

Lots of free graphics programs can create watermarks, I use PSP (not free) but PhotoPlus 6 from Serif click here is free. Open your picture, go to layers > add a layer > text tool > type watermark > reduce opacity to 25-50% > go to Layers > Merge all and save the new watermarked image. Remember to backup the original picture without the watermark.

The Gimp click here will also do it using layers.
