Please could anyone tell me what I need to connect a VCR to my laptop. I just want to WATCH tapes, not transfer. My VCR has SCART and RF outputs, and my laptop has USB2 sockets, and serial and parallel ports. Is there an interface I can buy?
Many thanks,
Rob.

You still need a video capture card to do this is your laptop does not have one. Adaptec have a USB2
adaptor but I'm not suggesting you get this one as its very expensive. However you can read the details for what this card does
