Warning message

A friend has recently upgraded from dial up to broadband. She was not happy with it and decided to go back to dial up. She has removed the modem but every time the machine boots up it gives an annoying warning "BT Modem lock-Alert warning the modem configured for dial up access cannot be locked- not supported or badly installed". She can then use the internet fine. How can I get rid of the message? Thanks

check control panel/internet options/connections and make sure the dial up is set as default and always dial my default is ticked.
