Warning! Firefox spoof vulnerablity found(again)!

  dagwoood 16:59 07 Jun 05

As per The Register(click here)an old exploit has inadvertently been reintroduced into Firefox v1.4.

I can't believe Mozilla put a flaw back into Firefox.

As per Secunia, you're advised not to visit unfamiliar sites.

Thanks dagwood, I tested my FF on the Secunia site click here
and nothing happened, I am running the Linux version of FF if this makes a difference.

Mozilla haven't posted it on their vulnerabilities site yet, but its worth checking occasionally click here

I use opera as well as firefox and opera seems
ok at secunia site so i will stick with opera
until a fix comes out.

I couldn't get this to work in Firefox 1.0.4.

Impressively fast patch by the KDE team, though!

Ignore that last bit about KDE, I misread the Secunia site and thought the vulnerability from July 2004 (click here) was the new one. Oh for the ability to edit posts!
