Most of us visit Adult Sites at work, home etc and research findings have proved it.I guarantee that readers of this have done it.I admit i do.Everybody receives junk mail and most are adult.By error of judgement i accidentally opened up an adult e-mail and immediately deleted it as i was explaining to my children about dangers on the Internet as parents we have a moral duty to so.Now by this innocent mistake i am now receiving loads of these adult e-mails with my real name on them!!!.You may have recently seen the 'Mr Bean' picture i have found 23 facial images and was planning to go to my local tv station to prove it.Then i realised without thinking my name will be heard on tv.The implications from this litterally drove me to the brink of suicide and has fate has it i contacted the wrong company. How this adult site got my real name is beyond me. I am now a nervous wreck and have sought councelling. These adult sites appear to have developed a better tracking system.Thank God i did not appear on telly.

Quite what gives you that idea, or which "research findings" have proved it I wouldn't know, but I suspect that the truth is somewhat different.

As for being driven to the brink of suicide just because you thought your name might be on TV - I'm lost for words. Why should your name appear - what have you done that's so newsworthy? I suggest that you go for a few long country walks, and put your life back into perspective - there's much more to it (life) than worrying about spam mail.

As FE. says, try to relax, get some fresh air and forget about it. Yes I agree that some e-mails can be stressful, but if you put them in perspective, no more than a utility bill dropping on the door-mat. :o(

I, and I would think many others receive these type or similar e-mails every day without ever being anywhere near an "Adult" site. Just block them, never respond to them and gradually they will reduce.

Do as Vog says and change your e-mail address and in future be a little more careful who you give your address to. Regards. j.

I satrted using mailwasher recently as I was receiving a loasd of porno junk mail. I have bounced a lot of mail back and it is slowly reducing in volume. So mailwasher get's the thumbs up from me. It can even bounce plain old spam and uses databases of addresse to block.

"Most of us visit Adult Sites at work, home etc and research findings have proved it" - Wrong, most of us don't and if you visit these sites at work, most af which are banned you'll get dismissed.

"Everybody receives junk mail and most are adult" - Wrong, I don't.

"I accidentally opened up an adult e-mail and immediately deleted it as i was explaining to my children about dangers on the Internet as parents we have a moral duty to so" What on earth were you doing showing your children these e-mails? Just delete them and change your e-mail address or get mailwasher.

" I am now receiving loads of these adult e-mails with my real name on them" You'll only receive e-mail with your real name on them if you have given out your real name - on a credit card maybe?

"You may have recently seen the 'Mr Bean' picture i have found 23 facial images and was planning to go to my local tv station to prove it" - No I don't know what your talking about and why would you go to your local TV station - to prove what?

Why you seem so stressed about it I do not know unless there is something else your not "confessing" to.

I would suggest that you maybe do the following. Low level wipe and reformat your hard drive. You should be able to get the software to do this from your hard drive manufacturer. Re-install your operating system and change your e-mail addresses and DON;T surf the net for porn if it's going to have such an impact on your life.

Surely this is a wind up????

Smiler - i wouldn't bother bouncing spam mail. Most spam mail has a fake return address so it goes nowhere - certainly not back to it originator. For those messages that do go back to the originator some are now working out which messages where bounced by Mailwasher (apparently they know the server name(s) Mailwasher uses) and know these accounts are live.

Bouncing just adds to the rest of the wasted bandwidth on the internet.

Just delete them.
