WAP Trouble Belkin

  Hrosir 21:10 07 Jun 05

After a power cut, I now am unable to use the Belkin WAP.I am wondering if the power failure could cause a breakdown as I have tried to reset the unit but to no avail. Any suggestions?

It should be a simple matter of re entering the access codes for your broadband service.

I should have given more details about my system. The WAP is conncted to a cable router via cable.A connection can be enabled if the Wap is unplugged and the cable inserted into the laptop directly. The WAP lights flash at regular intervals from side to side which they do not normally do. The reset button does not have any effect it seems

I can only suggest, try re installing the software that came with the router, carefully entering all your connection details.
