Waol message on AOL after loading Brain Teasers

After loading Brain Teasers from the PC Avisor subscriber CD, received message when signing onto AOL "WAOL illegal operation on MODEM.CcT at 10167:6c107f5c" on computer running ME and AOL 8. Invoking system restore cured this. Then tried loading on another PC under 98SE and AOL 7 and received same message. As 98 has no system restore cannot cure this problem. Any suggestions?

Hopefully too late to halp and you have solved your problem. I seem to recall that, Windows 98. Boot to prompt only then try scanreg /retore

My recollection is that this gives you a few dates you can go back to on the system.
